Renovation in progress

View from window with no grills, enjoy while we can

Week 1
Everythi
ng is in a mess, and the flooring for the living got accidentally hacked off, the contractor wanted to lay the tiles over it, but the workers heard wrongly, and they took it all off! Its a good thing for us, cause I do prefer the old tiles to be off.

Colour palette for our new house

I have not been blogging for a while, nowadays I spent my weekdays buried in work and weekends we are always out hunting for good bargains. The house has FINALLY started renovation, hopefully it will complete by end Aug, and we can moved in to celebrate Meya's birthday by then.

I'm such a fickle minded person when it comes to the house designs, the brief I gave to the contractor has changed so many times, I'm so glad my darling husband put up with all my nonsence. One minute I want a brick wall and the next day I changed my mind to wall skirting designs. Remember I bought the glass coffee table from OM some time in April, I decided that it does not go with the french chic look, so I sold it away. I had so many fickle-minded instances, even I cant keep track of it. Hee hee hee

Sometime back, I fell in love with the Christian Dior's Fall/ Winter 2011 ad, the colours are so bold, deep and incredibly elegant. I decided to inject these colours into the living room.

I'm going to teal the living room wall, and look for a deep purple carpet (the hairless type). Last week, I found the perfect french chair in olive green. Unfortunately, the photo of the french chair is in my crappy handphone, I cant download it :(
