Door Knobs

I have been obsessed about door knobs for a very long time, they are just like jewelleries for door, they dressed them up or down.

I bought some porcelain door knobs from a shop in Plaza Singapura, planning to use for Meya's wardrobe. They are having a store wide sale, only paid $10 for one instead of $17 :)


This evening, I popped by Robinsons and I found these vintage glass knobs! I'm so surprised to see such things here, so far I only see such knobs on Etsy. However, there are only 3 pcs left so I bought all of them. I have not decided what to do with them, as usual buy 1st decide later. And the best part is they only cost $20 after 20% discount.

My weekend purchases - OM

Glass Coffee Table . Only $199 original was abt $950. This is really a yucky image, but its the closest match to the table we bought. This comes in black but all sold out :(

Our Dining Table in white, it matches my ornate mirror for the hall :)

We also bought a white floor lamp and a sofa, unfortunately I couldnt find the images online so I can only show off when they get sent to the new house.

Handmade Felt Flowers w Buttons Brooches SGD$12

I'm seriously running out of names for my felt flowers, any suggestions are welcome :) My description for this header desparately needs some help.

I created this batch of flowers more than 2 weeks ago, but I wanted to make more of these before I post them up. Limited pieces of each colour.

French Chair

I bought an off-white ornate mirror today from a warehouse sale, its a super duper good buy cause I paid only S$199 (Original was S$995). I have'nt decide whether to put it near the dining room area, living room or my bedroom. Nevertheless, I need a couple of mirrors for the house, buy first decide later.

I told my darling husband I wanted to get a french chair for the living room, thankfully he agrees to me! I have'nt quite decide on the colour of the living room, so I really don't know what colour to look out for. I guess as long as it's nice and price being reasonable. I will just have to paint the living room to match the chair then :)

Handmade Felt Hairbands - To start the year

I got inspired lately just before the CNY holidays and started creating some new flower designs when I have some weekend time. I also got Shaun to take the photos this afternoon, since my canon has limitations. As of now I only created 1 pc of each design, I really don't know how long my enthusiasm will last this round, so grab it while you can :)

Ultimate Dream - Walk-In Closet

Every girl or woman dreams of having a walk-in wardrobe in her house. But in our times, where money and space is the BIGGEST problem, not everyone is fortunate enough to have one. I'm also one of the girls, secretly wishing and hoping. If I can convince my darling husband to delicate a part of our bedroom, it may just happen :)

Unexpected Vintage Finds!!!

My mother in law is in the midst of shifting into her new place and we popped in yesterday evening to see what we can savage. And I'm was ecstatic with the stuff I dug out! First I discovered this set of English tea cups with blue roses and saucers, so shabby chic. Then I found a full set of these cute little retro glasses with matching saucers., and the best part she told me I can have anything I find. She passed me a box of jewellery on my way out and I had the time of my life when I went home and opened the box. There are 2 gorgeous gold leaf necklace in tip top condition and plenty of vintage earrings, there are too many to take, so I only capture some of them. She gave me an old Lanvin sunshades.

Just one word to describe, AWESOME!!!
